Background
This article is intended for service technicians and engineers to provide an understanding of the different methods used to adjust and control maximum ambient air intake across various ventilation modes.
1: Determine your revision and ventilation option
Before making any changes to the air intake settings, it is important to verify both the unit revision and the ventilation option installed on the unit.
The unit nomenclature can be found on the side of the unit or in the nomenclature section of the installation manual.

2: Menu instruction to change max ambient air intake( Economizer,CRV,ERV) (REVB -REVC)
The following instruction set is applicable for both Indoor and Outdoor Units
Note : Enter default password 0000 when prompted
1.Enter Main Screen menu
1.1Press the PRG menu key to open the password entry screen shown below.
1.2 Enter the password 0000 to access the first-level parameter settings menu, then navigate to 08 – OTHER PARAMETERS
2.Enter Other Parameter Menu
2.1Enter sub-menu OT28 and verify that Customer Fresh Control is set to Enable.
2.2Go to sub-menu OT27 and confirm that Cust Fresh Air Valve is set to Forward.
3. Enter Main menu interface
3.1Return to the main interface, press the Enter key, and select USER MASK.
3.2Enter sub-menu U04, where the Fresh Air Valve Mng option represents the fresh air valve opening.
3:Demand Based Ventilation Input (0-10VDC)
This instruction set describes steps to add optional demand based ventilation input (0-10VDC) to Rev B and Rev C School Air Solutions units. After the adjustment, the ventilation would operate based on the 0-10VDC input.
Step 1: Update software (Contact your AIRSYS distributor for Compatiblity and Software File)
- Connect laptop to control board via Micro USB cable
- Drag and drop “autorun.ap1” file into Upgrade folder
- Disconnect Micro USB. Update will automatically (~3min)

Step 2: Move Wire 61 from B11 to B10 on the control board

Step 3: Add CO2/Demand based ventilation input (0-10VDC) to B11 and GND terminals. Note: connect +VDC to B11 and 0VDC reference to GND
Optional: Adjust 0-10VDC threshold (Default: 5VDC)
If the threshold voltage needs to be changed from default, Connect the PGD display and follow these steps:
- Press Prg and Enter default passcode 0000
- Press Up or Down to select “Other Parameters”and Press Enter
- Press Up or Down to navigate to “CO2 set” and change from default 50%. I.e. If changed to 80%, the damper would move if input is >8V
